Religious fundamentalists have sentenced a dog to death for the crime of previously being a lawyer they didn't like.
A Jewish court of Rabbis declared the dog should be stoned to death merely for walking into the court building. Apparently the dog wasn't simply a dog but a reincarnation of a lawyer they cursed twenty years ago.
Even within their own twisted logic isn't it god who gets to judge people's souls?
Not only do these religious head cases get off on animal cruelty but they believe in reincarnation. No one is sure why it took the lawyer twenty years to come back. It is almost as if it was just random chance? That's the great thing with religion. You never have to prove anything, just wait. Thousands of failed predictions but then, randomly, after twenty years - BAM! The money shot. A dog walks into court. Maybe it liked the smell.
A court manager was quoted as saying it had been ordered,
as an appropriate way to 'get back at' the spirit which entered the poor dog
